My favorite birth certificate news from yesterday was the Court Decision declaring that the NY Board of Elections committed fraud by certifying a British citizen (Obama) as the US presidential canditate in the 2008 election. The court also said that it was not the NY court’s responsibility to remove Obama; that would be the responsibility of Federal authorities.

Here is the one thing that has puzzled me in this whole thing. A person runs for president. Doesn't the CIA and FBI do back ground checks on all serious candidates to make sure they are legally eligible? Last year I called my local congressman's office (about fubocare) and also asked about the possibility that obi wan had Indonesian citizenship. The guy I talked to said that it was McCain's campaign that had the authority to look into his citizenship and if they didn't find anything then all was good. (didn't buy it) I just don't get how a person could get to this point and this information NOT be clear or vetted. If this is left up to the media then we are set up for more FUBOs like this.
