To: deport

Question..Texas is getting FOUR new congressional seats next year...obviously to some extent it will depend on how the lines are drawn, but is it possible that some of these potential senate candidates are positioning themselves for a House race?

Possible I guess but like you said it depends upon the new boundries. I don’t know where they all reside but I honestly don’t think most that are mentioned would be looking at a congressional district. That is just my initial reaction with truly no basis in fact only gut feeling.

Texas is still one of nine states that has to get the feds approval for any Congressional redistricting. So whatever lines/boundries are drawn will have to have the blessing of the Feds. Gerrymandering of districts lines isn’t exactly unheard of in Texas. Texas has asked for and been denied the removal from the list of nine.
