a) Despite what they may have taught you in journalism school, one does not throw commas into sentences randomly
b) If you check the current MSM style manual, your sentence should have been recast to read “Police said Aboyade was in the US undocumentedly”.
Yeah, you might get this:
"What's that flying around, your head?"
Rather than:
"What's that flying around your head?"
