For Obama and the liberal democrats, Palin IS Goldstein. The ref is Orwell’s “1984”.

Ms. Palin represents exactly the kind of culturally conservative critique of Mr. Obama that her Washington colleagues would like very much to play down at the moment. Her grievances are based less in the particulars of policy than they are in the caricatures and cultural divisions of the last political era effete Easterners versus rugged Westerners, wine-drinkers versus beer-pounders, Ivy League lawyers versus Bible-brandishing activists. I have to wonder, when was the last time the author of this piece visited flyover country? Or even ventured outside of Manhattan? Never?

Sarah Palin should announce her candidacy for President and officially request Secret Service Protection ... this would put the crazy leftists in a tizzy...

...it seems that the president now has, in Ms. Palin, something he badly needed after a punishing election season: the ideal political foil. that's what a President needs? a political foil? Not the country doing better?
the Libs don't even try to pretend anymore that they want the country to do better.

Oh, yeah let’s all listen to the NYSlimes.

The nyt is continuing its slobbering sloppyness. Given the fairly even divide in the USA, the reverse is also true: Palin benefits from having brack obama as a foil.

It laughable how they always have to include how much money she makes. Do they do that for anyone else? Yeah I didn't think so. Personally after what she has put up with from these bottom-feeders I hope she makes lots of money and rubs it in the face of every liberal (and barbara bush) pondscum she runs into. But hey thats just me.
Actually if you think about if she gets $250,000 per episode and over 3 million people watch it and just 1/3 of the people buy a product that was advertised they made a killing uh oops I mean alot of money by advertising on her show.

I can’t wait for the first live election 2012 presidential debate between Palin and Obama... that’s going to be a sight to behold. Until then, Obama and his idiots in the MSM can continue to grasp at straws.

Well, I think it's really swell of Mr. Bai and the whole gang at the
NY Times to give those of us unfortunate enough not to be the beneficiaries of an Ivy League education or a Manhattan address yet another reason not to back Sarah Palin. Because they care about us, they really do.
This sort of stuff ceased to be influential quite some time ago and entered the field of comedy. Somebody buy this clown a rubber nose and some face paint.
To: Nachum
She is being relentlessly attacked due to the obvious fact that the left sees her as the biggest threat to their agenda.
Once a larger threat to their agenda has been identified, that person will be ruthlessly attacked just as Mrs. Palin has been for over 2 years now.

Buckeyesrule,
You mentioned Barbara Bush.
I saw a news clip on FOX a bit ago showing W & Clinton pushing the Haiti thing. That reminded me that they were in charge of helping down there. I got me to wondering if Barbara’s “comment” about SP came before or after SP went down there and suggested that the US needed to get off its duff and get some help down there. Does anyone know if maybe that had ticked Babs off? Or was it just the Jeb thing?
To: Nachum
He and the Dems had her as their foil for the first half of his term and...you know, that happened.
