***Here’s my take on things: Abercrombie was trying to shake down zer0bama for tens of $millions, and Obama called his bluff, a little bit, to see if he would open his mouth. Sure enough, A-Crumbie did, but Obama would not let go of such large sums of cash. This is the compromise position. Acrumbie gets some under-the-table money for his warchest, and Obama has to get set to fight eligibility battles without a BC, but at least he doesn’t hold himself vulnerable to a bribery scandal.
