DEVELOPING:Authorities say two students were shot Tuesday morning at a high school in Los Angeles. One person has been arrested.
Police believe the gunman, a black male wearing black clothing, is a student at Gardena High School, the school where the shooting occurred.
Police say one bullet was apparently fired accidentally hitting a 15-year-old boy in the neck and a 15-year-old girl in the head. The girl is in surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, police say.
Sources reportedly told The Los Angeles Times that after the gun fired, the student who brought it to school apologized to his classmates before running out of the classroom.

We need a law banning high school students from possessing handguns. Maybe we need a law banning anybody from having a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school. Maybe handguns in CA should have mandatory drop tests to assure their safety. I can think of many laws that would have prevented this.

No doubt the gubmint is just waiting for a goo reason to invoke martial law! Encouraging anarchy would be the created cause for such a move, con’t you think?
My theory is that this kid is a gang member and brought the gun to school for protection, then it went off.(This is Gardens after all, high crime area, lots of gang activity) They have metal detectors at this school, but they don’t require every single student to go through it..so that is how this kid was missed. Prayers for the 15 year old girl who was shot in the head
