Yes. And that rate or speed is infinite. Here's why: The present--i.e. now--is an infinitely small moment, succeeded by another infinitely small moment, etc. In an infinitely small moment, the entire cosmos is in the past--is gone. And in an infinitely small moment of time the present is created and destroyed. In a real sense, we are traveling through time at the speed of infinity. The Hindu's are right.

Not quite. It's a Planck scale time interval called a "Planck unit". It's the time required for light to travel 1 Planck length. Roughly 10-43 (10 to the minus forty third) seconds.
