To: Dilbert San Diego

Correction please. Most workers do not get Martin Luther King’s birthday as a paid holiday or day off. It hasn’t caught on in the private sector as much as the supporters of the holiday had hoped.

Which frankly amazes me. By now I thought the din of cries of “racist!” would have gotten them all to cave.

What happens in a lot of places is the floating holiday.

Most people take the day after Thanksgiving, blacks take MLK day.
