National "Jewish" "Democratic" Council's Blood Libels

Chutzpah: a man murders his parents and then asks the court for mercy because he is an orphan. Chutzpah certainly describes the National Jewish Democratic Council's recent condemnation of Sarah Palin for calling accusations that she somehow incited the alleged crime of Jared Lee Loughner as blood libels. It is a matter of record that NJDC has itself posted material that could be used to incite hatred of Jews as well as a blood libel of the Christian computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces." Here is what David A. Harris had to say about Palin:

Instead of dialing down the rhetoric at this difficult moment, Sarah Palin chose to accuse others trying to sort out the meaning of this tragedy of somehow engaging in a “blood libel” against her and others. This is of course a particularly heinous term for American Jews, given that the repeated fiction of blood libels are directly responsible for the murder of so many Jews across centuries—and given that blood libels are so directly intertwined with deeply ingrained anti-Semitism around the globe, even today.

NJDC should have thought about the latter before it posted material whose purpose, whether intentional or not, is to foment anti-Semitism and could therefore be called a blood libel.

I am of Jewish origin and that is why I find NJDC’s actions particularly loathsome and worthy of condemnation. NJDC is to Jews what the Westboro Baptist Church is to Christians: an embarrassment if not an outright abomination.

NJDC would doubtlessly be willing to stamp bacon “Kosher” if that would somehow deliver more votes to the extreme left wing of the Democratic Party.

Making absurdly false accusations is a way to sort out a tragedy? That is the most bogus therapy I have ever heard of. Anyone who deals with stress by making false accusations needs a psychiatrist.

It’s the same group that used its purportedly Jewish identity to whitewash anti-Semitic hate speech hosted by MoveOn.org; hate speech that could have come straight from Nazis. MoveOn.org also hosted hate speech against Catholics and evangelical Christians.

Both are Leftist organizations masquerading as the opposite. That is typical of the Left. Remember, they are power hungry because without power they cannot impose their will on the rest of us. They are also amoral. Anything goes. They get away with it because the media cover for them. The media blast conservatives for imagined transgressions and they let the Left get away with murder. Murder and rape in Slick Willie's case.
