I thought Sarah Palin was marvelous. She was uncharacteristically, but appropriately, solemn.

I initially thought that Hannity was off base in showing the cartoon and the quotes of the nasty rhetoric directed at her, because I personally felt bad that she had to sit there and listen to that vile stuff. (I thought he should have played it either before or after the interview) But then, on reflection, it occurred to me that millions will watch only the interview and millions more will watch it on you tube or the web. Many millions do not realize the vile things that are routinely said about Sarah Palin and her kids. In order to get this information in front of those who are less engaged than we, it was necessary to make the filthy trash part of the interview. In so doing, I think Hannity did the Governor a great service (whether intentional or not) by showing just how viciously the left has treated her. It seems to me that the dignity and grace with which she responded to these smears (which frankly embarrassed me to even see) was a pivotal, and yes...Presidential moment for her.

I agree. If nothing else, people hearing that death threats have been made to her children should be a huge wake up call.

Looks like we had the same take on the interview and Sean’s intent.
