I believe that too. (Heck - I believe he even has plans for little ol’ me!)
It is interesting, and heartening to read the book of Esther in the O.T. Off topic (sort of) to discuss in detail here. But her dad(?), in the midst of all the bad things happening to Esther and the Jews, tells her something like “Perhaps you were born for a time like this?”
Not elevating Palin up to the heights of sainthood, but God does use everyday folks like you and me to help get the job done.
