Back in 1964 when I first voted for POTUS, I was working with a gal who was born in Latvia. She and her parents were staunch Republicans. They had fled the communists following WWII. They had a German name, so I think they may have been expelled. But, they had absolutely no time for any Communists. Her father had been in the Latvian army before the war.

I believe it.

I should add to the list anyone who lived in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

All those Vietnameese that came to America, that I have met, are staunch Republicans (if not neccessarily so-cons, but they do pull the lever for “R” always)
