So-called "Alternative" energy sources are a real pet peeve of mine.

Just because something works exceptionally well on a small scale - for instance, using solar power to heat hot water for your house - doesn't mean that it scales upwards to commercially or industrially feasible solutions.

Only a fool, or a politican (but I repeat myself), would make that stretch without asking someone who actually knows a bit about the engineering behind a system such as that. But this isn't about feasibility, I suppose. It's about lining the right pockets with the right amount of cash.

Green Energy is an opportunity for a new generation of Robber Barrons to rise with an assist by the politicos. This is only possible after a lengthy effort of indoctrinating our youth in the public school systems under the influence and direction of environmental wacko organizations.

It’s about green alright...greenbacks, and lots of them.
