If Republicans were to run a classified ad for their 2012 presidential candidate, it might read something like this:

No more Bushes!

Screw Jeb. I’ve had enough Bushes to last a lifetime. Two failed presidencies is enough for one family.

Jeb has no credibility on the immigration issue as he has a built-in bias.

He is married to a mexican lady who he became infatuated with when he lived in Mexico as a high school exchange student.

How about we leave the ethnic pandering to the scumbags in the other party.

What this country really needs is another amnesty-promoting, Spanish speaking President who is indifferent to America’s historic people and culture.

Yeah, that’s the ticket.

That is the key to the debate to me.

With regard to assimilation, he says, Hispanics have much to be proud of. “Second-generation Hispanics marry non-Hispanics at a higher rate than second-generation Irish or Italians. Second-generation Hispanics’ English language capability rates are higher than previous immigrant groups’.”

If he could convince me of that I’d say open the border. I don’t believe it. I fear (and I believe it’s a valid fear) that a mass immigration will bring the failed Mexican culture of corruption and poverty hear.

That’s the question, do will they turn themselves into Americans, or will they turn America into Mexico.

As if the form of amnesty Jeb wants isn’t the biggest entitlement to law-breaking non-Americans ever!

Jeb says, One possibility is “one of the states not being able to deal with its pension obligations and its structural budget problems.” That could, in turn, “change the international financial community’s regard for sovereign risk in the United States.”

This is already happening. For examples states such as Calif, Michigan, are drying up.Jobs are leaving their states.Parts of Michigan, look like ghost towns, with abandoned boarded up houses, businesses buildings, there is Record $14 trillion-plus debt weighs on Congress, the U.S. is reaching the point of where it cannot pay it’s debts. Bush needs to find something else to do that might be of interest.
He is behind the times

Jeb is so bad on immigration and border security that he makes his brother George look like Sheriff Joe.

If the GOP wants to attract Hispanics, why not bring in the ones who come here legally and contribute, rather than the ones who come here illegally and lower the standard of living?

Jeb is in the same category as Myth Romney—not only NO, but HELL NO.

Jebbie’s family has already done enough damage to this country and to the conservative cause.

No more Bushes. Ever.

Even though I am a recent sign up, I have been lurking for many years.

And I think Free Republic is far more conservative than the Rino elite on immigration, and I have yet to hear anybody here complain about legal immigrants. Many here are actually far more liberal on immigration than I am.

This notion that conservatives are anti-immigrant is a myth created by the liberal media and Latino fascist groups aligned with the Democratic Party.

But one thing I have to concede is that we allow the liberal media to define us and we don’t do enough to fight back against their slander.

There is nothing racist or anti-immigrant about being pro-rule of law.

Just like every country in the world we have every right to define our immigration system as we see fit and to have defensible borders.

The illegals don’t dictate to us, not now, not ever.

Anytime a Liberal GOPer mentions that “we need to attract more Hispanics”....that is code for ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY.

Jeb Bush, and all the Bushes....support Illegal Alien Amnesty. They value the rights of Illegal Aliens over the rights of American Citizens

Illegal Alien Amnesty is Anti-American Bigotry. The Bush family are Anti-American bigots. The things they have done to Americans who have defended our borders from Illegal Alien invaders is treasonous.

It is time for the GOP to get over its Illegal Alien Fetish. Hispanics do not vote GOP because of support for Illegal Alien Amnesty....if this was the case....John McCain would be President

Any GOP who mutters “we need to bring in more Hispanics” is just pandering for and pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty. I do not support any candidate who is not 100% Border Security and 100% Illegal Alien deportation. Bush is pro-Illegal/anti-American

This is my one question for Mr. Bush, the former governor of Florida. Is he willing to denounce and refuse all investment for the state of Florida that is money derived from drug smuggling, medicare fraud, insurance fraud, immigrant smuggling, and black market goods?

Let’s guess his short answer: NO.

Florida has already sold its soul to total corruption imported from other countries. Business investments and real estate investments are now funded as fronts for money laundering. Even small businesses here are just fronts for money laundering.

Many of us on this website probably agree that we wish all immigrants abided by the law. The main concerns are not a particular ethnic heritage or language, it is the ongoing culture of corruption that has permeated this country and is now accepted as embracing diversity. We don’t want corruption and crime in any language.
