Looking Behind the Mug-Shot Grin
The New York Times ^ | 15 January 2011 | Jo Becker, Serge F. Kovaleski, Michael Luo and Dan Barry and written by Mr. Barry.

TUCSON — Moments after the swirl of panic, blood, death and shock, the suspect was face down on the pavement and squirming under the hold of two civilians, his shaved head obscured by a beanie and the hood of his dark sweatshirt.

Deputy Sheriff Thomas Audetat, a chiseled former Marine with three tours in Iraq to his credit, dug his knee into the gangly young man’s back and cuffed him. With the aid of another deputy, he relieved the heroic civilians of their charge and began searching for weapons other than the Glock semiautomatic pistol, secured nearby under a civilian’s foot, that had just fired 31 rounds.

LOL! I was only talking about the libs.

It’s funny that those people are the biggest gun grabbers in creation, yet all of their body guards have guns. Typical case of “good enough for me and not thee”.

Guy was not Tea Party

At the best: Proof that the liberals cannot make good judgements on what occurs around them.

At worst: That they do lie about events.

I had no idea that mind-manipulation of the masses through language was a big right wing issue - not to mention all of the other aspects of his character that were distinctly LEFT wing.

The New York Times writers apparently forgot that the idea of using language for political ends is a key tenet of Marxism. And something everyone alive today is familiar with as they have lived through all the left wing campaigns to change the meaning of words and how they are used in society, and the left's never ending attempts at using speech codes to control the political discourse in society.

While I doubt it is possible to determine for someone with the degree of mental illness Loughner apparently suffers from what influenced him, other than his own sick mind, Loughner certainly was exposed to plenty of manipulation of speech and language by the left during his years in school.

You have to go all the way to page 3 of the article to find: "His anger would well up at the sight of President George W. Bush ..."

This is what is known as "burying the lede."

Just another liberal driven to violence by Bush Derangement Syndrome. Clearly, it is Bush's fault.
