The Savannah cats are gorgeous but loud! They really sound like a wild cougar or something. My old gal just lays around. She’s deaf and has a tumor near her lung. I’m just keeping her pain free for now. Hard to make that final decision when she purrs and bathes and looks so alert most of the time.

I know how you feel about putting your gal down...Its a cry all day thing. As long as she eats and looks comfortable, she's fine. I have seen another breed of cat on a commercial that is beautiful...its a white cat with black strips and spots...don't know the name of the breed but sure is pretty..

I have 2 dogs buried in my back yard, they died 10 years apart and it is hard. The one was in and out of renal failure for over a year. She didn't eat dog food the vet had me cooking rice and hamburger for her. But then she quit eating and I had to carry her outside to piddle, when she couldn't squat without falling over, it was time...they kind of let you know...

Give your gal a hug from me. GG
