“...a donation box at the entrance for the six dead and 13 wounded, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, sat nearly empty.”
Colleen Bush, the ‘author’ of this so-called article didn’t say what time of day she saw this “nearly empty” box. Either she was the first one in or it had been emptied a dozen times already. Gun owners are known to be generous to innocent victims of gun violence.
Filling up another barf-bag.
So how much did she put in the empty box???

The box I saw on TV this AM looked to be about 60 inches tall, about 18 inches square. Tht is a sizeable amount of space.
There was a nice amount of money showing thru the CLEAR walls of apparently plexiglass.
This show was planned for months- such facilities are booked as much as 2 years in advance. There is now way anyone could afford to cancel the event & return vendors fees or throw away all the pre-advertising.
The same show appears in Reno every year. I think they travel all over the western states. No reason to cross the Mississippi.
Not suggesting anything, just asking.
