I wasn’t going after her and letting the others go. The post is about Palin, that’s why I asked about her. I seem to remember her being interviewed on Fox one time, and I think she actually referenced the Statue of Liberty when talking about immigration, and that is almost always a bad sign. I want to here more from her on this.

As to the others;
Mitt - I don’t trust him. I would expect him to support amnesty eventually.
Huckabee - Huckabee suffers from a bad case of White Guilt, and would be terrible on immigration. He has a history of nauseating, leftist-style rhetoric on the issue. He strikes me as another W, which again, would be very bad.
Thune - He has a history of voting against a path to citizenship for illegals, so that’s a good sign. I don’t know about his views on reforming legal immigration.
Daniels - Too early to say. Some of his rhetoric indicates he’d support a path to citizenship for illegals, but as governor I think he opposed drivers licenses for illegals.
Newt - He would no doubt be horrible. He seems to be one of those who buys the whole ‘Hispanics are natural Republicans’ line.

Here are some links:

Q "To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?"
A "I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, ..." [because it's humane].
