As Americans, we see who the real leaders are and who are the dividers. Despite all the hand-ringing about the blood-libel the media has been engaged in, I saw no one from either side of the political isle disagree on point with anything Palin actually said. And anyone who dares say that Mr. Obama echoed her exact sentiments in his speech later (i.e putting the blame on the shooter and not others) would be considered blasphemous in most political circles.
Newsflash to America: There is a presidential election coming up in 2012. The left and their media cohorts didnt go after Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Tim Pawlenty, Rudy Guliiani or even Haley Barbour (Wikileaks didnt go after them, either). You might recognize these well-known people as potential GOP candidates for that office. Yet, they targeted that irrelevant, stupid, mean, quitter, who is 80 million points behind Obama, and whose unfavorable ratings are so high that she might as well to go to Russia to verify that she can really see her house from there.
Did I get it all in there? Need I go on? Need I explain? Okay, for the few of you reading this and dont get it, here it is in a nut shell:
Sarah L. Palin is not a mere person, nor is she a god. She is the defacto face of the American Political Revolution, the Silent Majority, the Great American Unwashed, the Tax Paying Majority, and yes the Tea Party. Her Facebook page carries more gravitas and is more effective than Obama entire communications team (including his teleprompter). A mere utterance from her can change the entire news cycle nationwide (Obama cant even do that at times). She is the greatest threat to the Washington, D.C. establishment since 1812, the top Republican fund raiser, the top insult to political-correctness, and to a growing number of Americans, a constant reminder of the mistake that was made in November of 2008.
To some, having Sarah Palin at a podium debating Obama in 2012 is more of a threat than a nuclear missile standoff with China and Russia combined. Hence, she (and those who follow her) must be destroyed. And with that said, her greatest problem may come as a shock to some, but should be exposed and addressed now:
The Republicans.
Throughout all these attacks, especially in this last week, the silence of all but a few republicans has been deafening. The attacks against Palin this week probably would not have lasted more than 24 hours, if the GOP had to guts (or the will) to step up to the plate and defend the most popular figure in their party (not to mention the one who help them win back the House). No, there has been very little defense. In fact, we can always be sure that some soft republican hack will give the media a sound bite that will go viral against Sarah Palin knowing full well that any negative opinion about her will be the headline of the next hit-piece on her.
Surely her name was brought up frequently at the GOP weekend retreat of the January 15 weekend. One wonders how many there may suspect what we already know: If they get rid of Sarah, how long before the left/media turn their guns on the next GOP threat? And since no one wants to be that person, let them expend all their ammo on Sarah, right?
Wrong. Look at the Democrats. You attack one its like attacking all of them. They rarely speak ill of another democrat if at all. On the other hand, republicans will throw one of their own into a live volcano at the drop of the hat (or one drop of ink from the New York Times) The GOP has this critically bad habit of allowing the left and the media to dictate the rules of engagement. Those attacked after the Tucson shootings are the ones who dont play by those rules. Sarah is the most notable and effective among them.
The D.C. elite (including republicans) have yet to come to terms with the reality that Americans are fed up with the way government works only for itself, and not the people who pay the bills. Those of us between Interstates 5 and 95 see what is happening to our country and are determined to make a better future than the one predicted for our posterity. As the GOP exalts their new Chairman, no doubt his first mission will be fund raising. But like is predecessor, he will have to find a way to steer campaign donations back to the RNC and away from SarahPac.org and others helping good republican win seats in Washington as well as the states. And to do this, he will have to allow to attacks on Sarah Palin to go un-answered in mass by the GOP, hoping that her followers will loose faith in her, and not them.
good luck with that.
bump for later
I agree with you just about 100%. The nutcase Democrat attacks on Sarah Palin have no impact whatsoever, other then with kindred left-wing, liberal, Democrat low life vermin!!! So....I don’t sweat those moron attacks at all!!! As for the Pubbies, while they cannot stand Palin, they are so weak, they can only try to damage her piecemeal at best. Palin is made of the ironclad stuff that the founders of our country were made of, belief in freedom, opportunity, individualism, economic growth, education, equality for all citizens, small government, freedom of speech, etc. The Democrat vermin and the Republican whimps are not going to stop Ms. Palin. What we watch and hear every day from our phoney, incompetent leaders of both major political parties and our state media, is the same empty, hateful rhetoric we heard from Hitler’s Goebbels, the books, “1984” (Big Brother Loves You), “Animal Farm: (Some Animals Are More Equal Then Others), Atlas Shrugged”, “Brave New World”, etc., etc. Obama is the useless leader/dictator, but he has plenty of lap dog supporters from both major political Parties. IMHO, we need a total turnover in government from top to bottom. Maybe it is Ms. Palin, or...maybe it is Herman Cain, etc. Whoever it is, woman or man, has to better then the elitist, America destroyers idiots out there, in charge, now, starting with failed POTUS Barack Hussein Obama!!!
There is just one reason why the democrats feel they need to demonize Sarah:
She is the biggest threat to their political ambitions, and she is the biggest threat to Obama in 2012, and she is bigger than Pawlenty or Romney or anyone else that the republicans might throw at Obama in 2012. Hence, they need to destroy her before she even comes close to taking down Obama and the democrats.
Sarah Palin is proxy for all of us.
Thank you for posting this essay. I was very well thought out and a good read.
Perfectly said, now post this to every elected repub and make them understand it is the job we have!
Excellent! Copy and Paste, send it to all the Republican reps. If enough of these get out they’ll be noticed. By all means email it to Rush.
This is the gold standard of vanities. Well said.
Along with your comments, I was discussing with my father-in-law how the Sunday talk shows should be used by the GOP to agressively attack the left.
No sitting quietly. No being polite. Just fact based relentless assault on progessive policies/indoctrination and the lack of conservative representation on their networks.
What other forum is there for the right to hit the left on the MSM?
I am Sarah Palin, You are Sarah Palin, we are Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin is US!
They hate us, they hate her, they hate her, they hate us! If you don’t back her you are not a conservative!
If they hurt her they hurt all of us!
She is the Conservative movement right now in America, just ask the left!
Cultural hegemony is the philosophic and sociological concept, originated by the Marxist philosopher Antonio Gramsci, that a culturally-diverse society can be ruled or dominated by one of its social classes. It is the dominance of one social group over another, e.g. the ruling class over all other classes. The theory claims that the ideas of the ruling class come to be seen as the norm; they are seen as universal ideologies, perceived to benefit everyone whilst only really benefiting the ruling class.
Well said. Well reasoned. Excellent analysis. Any potential candidate should recognize that they would strengthen their hand by coming to the aid of Gov. Palin. The one thing that people admire about her is that she speaks up and defends the rest of us against liberal attacks. It’s odd that the rest of the field don’t find us worthy of protection. And Gov. Palin speaks, no matter what the supposed political consequence to herself. Yet, that’s what the rest of the republicans are always calculating before they do or say anything and that is what makes them less than worthy candidates.
Sarah could speak with the words of angels and still the left would ‘find’ something to complain about.
The more they malign her, the more I like her.
Well said!!
There it is.
Sadly, I suspect that candidate Palin and even nominee Palin will receive all the GOP support that Christine O’Donnell received. Fortunately, that will help to keep her on our side and keep her from being co-opted like Romney and some of the other inside the beltway favorites. President Palin will be far better than anyone imaginable other than perhaps Bachmann or DeMint.
BTTT
I hope you posted this in her FB page.
