I heard Reagan speak in California, in 1992 (a desperate attempt to get Bush Sr. re-elected). He was OUTSTANDING. It was obvious that he was operating at full-tilt. He mentioned Santa Anna winds, and how Bill Clinton couldn’t deal with them...because of the ‘draft’. AWESOME.
...and that was 4 years after he left office.

Ron Jr. is a flat out liar as far as I’m concerned.
I watched the short segment on 20/20 last night with the wife and Ron was saying he couldn’t really point to anything specific but it was a feeling he had at the time and then mentioned something about notes by the phones. It’s clear to me he was really reaching when he wrote it and now he’s catching flak and back peddling a little.

Reagan gave a speech in D.C. a few months after Clinton was sworn in in 1993 and he still had it even then. The speech ripped Clinton and then some.
I believe that there is still lot not know about Alzheimers, it is possible that it effects people differently as well as how it progresses? So who knows just when Reagan developed this disease, is it possible that head injuries have a cause and effect here?
When Nancy finally passes away I hope Ron, Jr. can finally come out of the closet and be the Gay Man he truly wants to be.
