It is unbelievable that anyone with a sense of decency could call the Wednesday spectacle anything other than what it was: something for America to be ashamed of. The minute the cheering, hooting and hollering started, I turned it off. When I tuned in again later to see if it was over, there was The One, nose in the air, basking in the glow of a standing ovation.
A standing ovation? He would accept a standing ovation for HIMSELF at an event that was SUPPOSED to be a memorial for the six persons killed by the Crazy Guy? That tells you all you need to know about this sorry excuse for a leader.
And what were Holder and Napolitano doing there, as well as other useless officials? This was an insult and a travesty.
They were there to intimidate Governor Brewer and those citizens of Arizona who support her efforts re: immigration.
