I read a story here tonight about some DREAM Act candidate not being allowed to join the Marines because those wascally Wepublicans wouldn’t pass the DREAM Act. The DREAM Act activists held a press conference and made it sound as though the Marines were doomed because this guy was the “perfect” Marine and was being deported instead of recruited. What’s going on?
I missed that story. And I could not comment on it wisely, as, I am not a Marine.
Now wait a minit. I thought Marines were made. That no recruit could call himself/herself a Marine until they completed their exercises at Paris Island? ave I been misinformed— or is this DREAM ACT article typical left wing propaganda written by some draft dodger-ignorant of the Marines?How can anybody be an ideal Marine until /unless they have completed training. And I am unaware of any active duty Military ever being deported-unless perhaps they committed serious crime.
