You could hold a yard sale on that guy's forehead.

Nice Roman nose, non-piercing eyes that stare into nowhere, obviously well-fed, and probably manicured, looks like an Ideas Guy rather than a warrior.

Many Irish Noras-—even James Joyce had one.

Your son-in-law will be in my prayers.

Of course, rank and file party leaders in Wisconsin are ecstatic about his ascension and the “recognition” it will bring to the state. I don’t understand it. None of them seem to care that he’s shady, only that he claims an R as his identity. Typical RINO behavior, even from some conservatives in the state. I hope I’m wrong about him and time will tell. BTW, it appears that this behavior is how politics gets done but I’m ashamed that a republican would act this way or condone this behavior.

God bless your daughter for her service to our nation. She is beautiful. And I can see why she has so many “boyfriends.” Lol! Please thank her for us and God bless and protect all our troops!

Is your granddaughter named for James Joyce’s wife? You must have a strong Irish heritage. It must be nice to have history in your family. We are hodgepodge. We came from everywhere and don’t know much other than two grandparents. Grandma, Ukraine; Grandpa, Iceland. Other relatives scattered because of the depression. Parents, Wisconsin. Us, Wisconsin.

How come everyone on this board says he’s a Tea Party Conservative except you?

You know, I used to be ‘pure’ like you. Then, I woke up and realized, we need to start small. Make an indent. The libs started 75 years ago. Do you think in one or two elections we’ll change completely towards conservatism? Take our victories one step at a time, no matter how small. Reince Prebius is a start. He’s better than Steele. What has he done in this state that was shady? Behind the scenes stuff no one heard of? You need to take it back a notch. Look at Wisconsin. Would you EVER think we’d be where we are 2 years ago?

RedState had a favorite they were pulling for and started spreading innuendo about this guy not really being a “friend” to conservatives but the facts seemed slim that they used. The guy they were pulling for wasn’t exactly a grassroots kind of conservative himself even though they tried to dress him up as one.

I read that site and I like it and they are good allies to the cause but sometimes when they become committed to someone they go overboard and lose objectivity. The way they did when they kept insisting their Senate candidate in California was winning and Fiorina should drop out. I was no fan of Fiorina but objectively there was no evidence suggesting their candidate was surging to the top.

Today they posted on how they should have a redo on the balloting and choose someone else who wasn’t running. They removed that post quickly once Priebus was selected and now are covering their back sides by saying how many trusted friends of theirs are vouching for the guy.

I think Priebus is a good choice as far as fundraising and putting together a winning campaign go. I’m withholding judgement on if he’s good for conservatives since my knowledge of him on a personal level is small. Got burned with Steele so actions will speak about his intent.

Because some people will never be satisfied if someone is not ‘pure’ enough. We need to start the fight somewhere.

We all got burned with Steele. Prebius isn’t him. The only hurdle I see is the DC ruling class getting in the way. Reince is a true blue conservative. He’s you and me. He really pulled Wisconsin, the GOP and those of us who left the party together. Look at what happened, we kicked out Feingold, and changed our state completely. Who’d have thought? Wisconsin was midnight blue, now we’re blood RED! Keep your eye on us. The first day Walker was in office, our AG was given approval to join the HC lawsuit. Lots of stuff is happening here. We’re going to be the state to watch. And

IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another pic for people NOT from Wisconsin who never heard of this guy and are saying WHO?

To be fair, two of three delegates from TX were voting for some Soros-connected guy.

Of note, DeMint and Palin have reserved comment on the matter, so it seems....

Some swear by him on the thread. Guess we'll just have to get to know him.

Oh, I’m sure he’s a real warrior, like so many of the young republicans I meet. Which branch of the military did he serve in, by the way?
