USA Today reports...In a new book -- and an interview on ABC's 20/20 -- President Ronald Reagan's son says he saw evidence of his father's Alzheimer's disease back during his years in the White House. "There was just something that was off, I couldn't quite put my finger on it," Ron Reagan said in 20/20 interview airing Friday night. The younger Reagan said his father often didn't seem sharp during their political debates.

So Dad didn’t go full bore in a political debate with junior at the dinner table; why waste the energy when he knew junior didn’t have much sense?
It is out. I am listening to John Batchelor. The commercials at ABC News reported words of Ron in a news feed about how his father was not right.
Ron NON Reagan is a shameless, classless, and disrespectful bastard. I’d say he is a disgrace, but that would be almost a compliment.
Thank GOD President Reagan has his son Michael to defend him, his presidency, and his memory!
Ronette is a low life POS. He had very little contact
with his father when he was POTUS.
Ronette, an avowed leftist & atheist, disgraces the memory of his father.
“ Honor thy father and thy mother” . It seems Ronette believes in nothing except hawking his vile lie filled book.
Ronnie Jr is a pitiable, sleazy, and shameful entity.
Ronette gay? Wherever did you get the idea that this vaccuous ballerina is gay?
What’s with ballerina’s?
Maybe the father realized what an idiot his namesake had become.
President Reagan did have Alzheimer’s and I don’t understand what real difference it makes now exactly when the first of the symptoms began. As it is a condition which develops gradually, it may not be possible to determine exactly when it began.
Was an autopsy done to confirm after his death? I understand they cannot truly determine this disease until after death. Often times it can be dementia caused by stroke or other factors??? Just wondering if this was finalized after his death as the true disease.
A person with dementia and Alzheimer's would in no way be able to give the speeches and do the job of President of the United States the way Reagan did.
Ron says his fathers “poor performance” in the debates leading up to the 1984 election was one of the first signs he saw. Yeah, that's why people in 49 states voted overwhelmingly for him you jack-wagon. He must be looking to score some cash off of his father's 100th birthdays, Feb. 6th. What a loser!!
It's going to be awful quiet over Thanksgiving dinner this year.
Nail. Hammer. One tap home.
Excellent!
I didn’t know she went up to the casket......and yes, I believe she went to Church.....she might have been Catholic.
Nancy was pregnant. Not much Wyman could do about that.
Jane Wyman WANTED the divorce, Reagan did not....he was CRUSHED!
isn’t li’l ron a little old to be pulling the rebellious teenager act?!
I remember when Reagan was in office people used to ask him “where’s Bonzo”....well..now we know where Bonzo is, he was writing a book.
Every time there is something nasty to say about Ronald Reagan, Ron Reagan, the younger son, seems to be at the head of the line.
I would think at least Nancy Reagan would stop him.
