Sarah Palin will be the keynote speaker at a huge convention of hunters later this month, organizers announced on Friday.
The former vice presidential candidate and possible 2012 presidential hopeful is headed to Safari Club Internationals convention later this month in Reno, Nev. - one of the key early presidential primary states.
Organizers made the announcement that Palin would be appearing at the gun-related gathering less than a week after the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that badly injured her and left six dead.
Palin is scheduled to keynote the pro-hunting groups huge annual meeting on Jan. 29 - 20,000 are expected from around the world - with a speech on her past hunting experiences and how politics affect the current state of hunting and fishing, according to a Safari Club website. Tickets for the event are already sold out.

No, many of the so-called Republicans have criticized her timing and the content of her remarks...I don’t have to say how I feel about them...can’t you feel your screen seething?
I think the “just announced” item is that she will deliver the keynote address.
Kind of like how the media treated the Bush twins. “Blah, blah, blah, who’s had a troubled past with alcohol, blah, blah...”
