Why didn't the Dims suggest this in 2006 after they'd rewon a House majority?

This is nothing but a Dim ploy, a first step to begin weakening the Republicans' resolve and determination to use their House majority to oppose Obama and to advance a more conservative agenda.

The optics are terrible. The Rep majority won’t be visible. And the Dems will appear to be larger in numbers than they actually are. Wait until Obama says something the Dems can applaud and the Reps can’t. It will look like the entire Congress is giving him a standing ovation.

What do you have to do to get some people in Congress that have some moral compass. If you lay down with dogs you are going to rise up with fleas. No two ways about it. I am so sick of these spineless, weak kneed, jellyfish Republicans that I am ready to vote for anyone but one of them.
