This epidemic of bad cops shooting dogs for no reason needs to stop.

Anyone, and I do mean anyone, who does this on my property will be DRT.

As would anyone who shot a policedog on sight. It seems the patricians’ dogs are to be viewed as sacred, the plebians’ dogs are expendable.

I truly wonder what type of training the cops have for the aftermath of an event like this. I mean, if Joe Redneck comes out of his house and sees his beloved dog lying in a pool of blood, with a deputy standing over the body -- if Joe Redneck says very calmly, "Excuse me officer, I'll be back in a minute; I just want to break the news to my wife."
What would the deputy do?
Because I think a smart deputy should start running.

At some point, one of these idiots will shoot the wrong guy’s dog, and pay for it with their lives.

Another idiot trigger happy cop. -The drill is now, kill the family dog then lie about the dog and say its gate was locked. Then fine the owner.

How long will it be before the drill is, shoot the suspected Enemy of the State, lie about it, then cover it up?
If we become complacent about these executions of “mere animals”, then we will set the course for the noose to be tightened around our own necks.
This needs to stop. Yesterday.

The guy is Tucson was clearly insane and had absolutely no justification for anything he did. He actions were abhorrent to all decent people.
But, if TSHTF, and citizens start viewing their government differently, we will start to see a lot of violence coming from "crazy" people who are not actually crazy.

Not even going to say anything except that trigger happy cops despite the blue line aren’t above the law.....not MY law.

Wow, so a Police Officer, searching for a suspect - can go into your back yard without a warrant, shoot your dog, and then fine you almost $300 for the dog “menacing” them?
And they wonder why some people do not like Police Officers.
I would get those guys names and badge numbers and then move out of town. Their lives wouldn't be worth living when I was done with them.

Lee County Domestic Animal Services fined Bonelli $268 for what they called, Harley's "Threatening/menacing" behavior. They are now looking into why the gate door was not secured, although Bonelli maintains the gate was shut.
Some watchdog it would be if didn't threaten or menace intruders (which they were, as they had no warrant or evidence that the girl had fled there). What should the dog have done, offered them tea and a biscuit? I guess not only do the elites want us barred from owning guns, but we also must have dogs that are submissive to trespassers.

How long will it be before the drill is, shoot the suspected Enemy of the State, lie about it, then cover it up? Sorry FRiend, that train left the station years ago. Thanks to YouTube, etc. we get to see examples now. But nothing will be done about it. We are a total police state and it will only get worse because our rulers like it just fine.

Just more Jack Booted Thugcops.
I’m getting tired of mentioning that most cops are good cops, these are the violent/bad cops. Where’s the outrage from the good cops? Even to me, it’s starting to sound like the “most muslims condemn violence, it’s only the violent/bad (”extreme”) muslims” line...

Well written. Any deputy who claims to be surprised and alarmed at an animal defending its or its master’s territory should be removed from the force.
People in other occupations somehow manage to do their jobs without shooting dogs. Yet it seems that too many bad cops are being trained to shoot first and ask questions later.

What sort of police state do we live in where they can come onto your private property and kill your pet inside its fenced in yard?
Do homeowners get to shoot back? Do they get to go over to your house and kill your dog?

They’re almost as bad as terminators-—except that the fictional cyborgs have better aim and are made of metal.
Come to think of it, they do seem to have a similar aversion to our canine friends....
