There was an article on this guy a couple of days ago on azcentral.com, which is the AZ Republic’s web site. I read the article. The guy was sitting a table waiting to talk to Giffords when the shooting started. He threw himself on the ground and played dead. He got a flesh wound in the leg. He laid there until it was quiet again. When he got up and looked around, he saw people bleeding, injured and dead. He decided he couldn’t help anyone. So, he got in his car and drove himself to the hospital.
Honestly, I am not impressed. Yes, he was shot, but he didn’t help anyone around him and he left the scene of a crime. Could he have been in shock? He had enough presence of mind to find his keys and drive. He sounded very selfish to me. Not impressed at all.
Just my opinion.
He’s a military vet to boot!!!
Don’t all recruits get minimum first aid training in boot camp?
Don’t they get taught never to leave others behind?
This guy has no spine at all. He needs to shut up.
Either in shock or totally looking out for number one. A veteran would know how to handle first aid in case of gunshots.
As for me, I'd rather have the Gay Intern Hernandez(?) on my side when the shooting starts than this idiot Jackwagon.
I don't know how I would have reacted in that situation, but I can't imagine playing possum with so many innocent people around me at the mercy of a Nutcase.
Then again, if I lived in AZ, I would have taken my friends Smith & Wesson along for the event. Living in Commiefornia, I don't have a chance in hell of getting a Carry Permit.
