wow that would be perfect for home defense, I wonder how the feed mechanism indexes between the two tubes?

There is a selector that allows you to choose between each tube. Center selection is no feed.

Probably a manual selector, possibly augmented by some sort of spring-loaded feeler on one tube that forces selection to the other when empty.
