I just looked up the murder stats for Tucson and Washington DC (the poster child for gun control).

Over the last 4 years Tucson had 9.4 murders/100,000 residents.
Over the same period Washington had 28.8 murders per 100,000 residents.

Obviously the comparison isn’t perfect but I’m sure Brokaw has gone out on the town more than a few times in DC. How afraid was he when he did so?.

To be honest over the murder rate in Washington DC...if you cut DC into West DC and East DC...West DC goes down to like 7 murders per 100k residents, and East DC goes up to 50 murders per 100k residents. Not that it really matters because theres not really any restaurant of substance that I could see Tommy hanging out at in eastern DC.
