Juan Williams says he nervous getting on a plane with Muslims, and he's fired from NPR.
Tom Brokaw says he's nervous going to a restaurant in Arizona (presumably with white people clinging to their guns), and he's lauded.
Maybe Brokaw thinks that conservatives are more of a threat to him than Muslims.

More seriously, working off such symbologies is the media's stock and trade. I thought it calculated both to discount concerns about Islam and portray 'those seemingly placid, but in reality backward violent cowboy conservatives down in Arizona' on an equal footing with 'peaceable Muslims, wrongly portrayed as terrorists.' In short, it was a vicious slur on conservatives by Brokaw that ignores the reality of Islam and its terrorist doctrines. It was purely bigoted in origin.

I’m sure that is true, and apparently Arizona conservatives are among the worst.
Conservatives should fire Brokaw, by refusing to watch or listen to him, and never repeat anything he says. That’s one way MSM makes ideas disappear, it works both ways. There’s more of us than them.
