Just wondering. Since I can’t get a handgun to CT, VT, RI, MA or ME unless I go through NY isn’t that state impeding interstate commerce?
You can. Under federal law you are allowed to transport any firearm thru New York as long as it is legal where you left and legal where your going. The one catch is that you can not stop driving anywhere in NY. Gas up and hit the John before the state line, and then your good to go.
An addendum, It is only a 20 minute drive from NJ to CT. So you will not be in NY very long.
