Critics of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin have turned to Twitter to post hate "tweets" suggesting that "she should be shot" and "assassinated."
A four-minute video montage of the the "tweets" -- apparently sent after Saturday's massacre in Arizona that left six people dead and 14 wounded, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords -- was posted to YouTube on Tuesday.
"My hatred for Sarah Palin continues to grow... I think this woman should be assassinated. Sorry about chya," was a message posted by "jenbobbi."
Another user, "misskate83," posted: "Sarah Palin should be shot for her encouragement of fanaticism against Democrats."
Calls to Twitter and YouTube were not returned on Thursday.

It’s the “cool” thing to do, hating Sarah Palin and us stoopid Conservatives. After all, the “cool” people all hate Sarah Palin because she’s not “cool”. - Obama has ginned them up with his rhetoric, and now they do his dirty work. It’s kind of a conundrum here: If Twitter makes little effort in blocking the violent-themed tweets, it would likely encourage more violent rhetoric; OTOH, if they block it, then we can’t identify who’s making the statements in order to assess whether they would be likely to carry out a violent action.
If Brady (god forbid) ever got his bill passed we could call the gestapo on these mental midgets.

The DNC Leadership had better wake the hell up. Their extremist minions are going too far. They are creating the very things they decry, and the DNC leadership is doing nothing but egging it on. It seems as if they might have gotten a clue... maybe. But I don’t think it will hold them back long.
That is a profoundly sad statement.
These sad young twits thought that they were doing something historic when they helped elect Barry the communist. Bravo losers. These Red Diaper Doper babies will be wondering in the future why the deficit has been run up so high and they cannot afford the things they want because hyper-inflation has happened. I personally am one of the last baby boomers and was brought up in a conservative middle-class household. I hope my parents live long enough to spend all their money. I hope that red-blooded Americans who earned a living piss away these twits entire inheritance and then some. The entitlement generation deserves to learn what real hardship is and they can just sit around and twitter about how messed up things are.

Nope. Palin is a "public figure" and thus you can say anything you want. As long as you don't actually take any action. Same for the Prez..they can (and will) come knock on your door to check you out, but there will be no charges.

I believe from every bad thing that happens an opportunity arises. If anyone watched the “pep rally” last night in Tucson, you had an invaluable learning experience placed right in your living room.
You saw an event held at a taxpayer, state funded school with screaming, hollering, leftists. You saw a President of a state funded school conducting a rah rah event. But to top it off, he bowed to the President of the USA. At the end of the event...he actually bowed. What do we take away from this???
The adults in that group are lost to us and society. They, along with their youthful counterparts were disgusting, rude and displayed uncommon disrespect for the type of event they attended.
The youth in the group saw adults acting like uncouth morons. But, their meager educations didn’t begin in that building last night. It started years ago in Govt. funded public schools where other leftist adults were teaching them in classrooms.
The opportunity: Take back our Schools. You won’t have youth that think threatening another human being’s life is okay. They won’t live in a parallel universe created by group of Utopians that worship lizards and feathers. In other words take your kids and grand kids back into classrooms where respect, decency and education matters. Teach them to be individuals and that actions and words have consequences.
And dare I say...take them back to Church and Synagogue. Let them learn about the REAL God. Put something real and more important than themselves back into their lives.
Let’s face it folks, we are killing our kids in this country. Their lives, their childhoods, their educations and their souls...it is all up to us.
