The other special interest was chemical fertilizer companies. Fluoride is a toxic byproduct that was costing them millions at that time to get rid of.

Without being able to dispose of it in our drinking water, the production of those products would not be cost effective and the plants would have closed.

We are one of the few countries who haven’t banned it’s use. BVB

I’ve never had any feelings on flouride because I’ve never lived with city water.

That said, people got along fine without it for a very long time. I have very good teeth and have never had flouridated water. Obviously I’ve used flouridated toothpaste but I’m not cooking with it or eating it.
