"It's an evil, evil drug."

It is indeed.A doctor of my acquaintance tells me that there is really no recovering from a meth addiction as it damages the brain and chemically impacts its structure.

It's an evil, evil drug.

I'm troubled by ascribing moral agency to a material object. Consider saying that it was invented, and is produced, sold and consumed with the evil intentions of men. You could say it is a poison with particularly insidious effects. But "evil"? It's just a molecule.

Genesis 6:5
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

You may think I'm full of it, but consider the cultural/political ramifications of blaming other inanimate objects for the evil things that we do.

I agree. I have been told that meth users never recover and in some cases the first toke addicts them for life.

Makes you pretty ugly, too, from what pictures I’ve seen. Vile!
