What's happening is that Palin has come to represent unhinged grassroots conservatism, You agree with THIS?

What’s happening is that Palin has come to represent unhinged grassroots conservatism,
Mission accomplished.
Actually not. She’s actually holding her own against the leftist onslaught.

In a way Palin is just a proxy.
The left, and their collaborators here...just hate Conservatives. ANY conservative.
It’s amazing that there are some on the right who still can’t quite put the pieces together. It doesn’t make all Palin supporters right at all times, but defending her against their slurs is about defending us, not making her President.

—No- I said “basically”. But to clarify: that’s a part I absolutely 100% reject.

Chair sounds like an elitist idiot. Oh, wait! He is an elitist idiot. But if even an elitist idiot can see that Gov. Palin is in no way culpable for the Arizona shootings, then what does that say about Paul Krugman, Andrew Sullivan, et al? - JP

They went too far and they know it.
The left is now in a corner. They are calling for the censorship of political speech which is fascism.
There is no way to back out gracefully. Zero will attempt to claim the high ground by calling on Americans to join hands or some such puerile imagery.
But the fact is that the left is caught pants down demanding the end of speech freedom and the curtailment of broadcasting. The fact is that if they get this demand, they will, just like politically correct speech in daily life, determine what is hate and what is not. Don’t let them.
In my book, that’s censorship writ large.

You’re beyond help if you agree with Chait. Give his article a little thoughtful analysis.

Gee, when this discussion started “unhinged” was the term used to describe Loughner, now it’s become descriptive of “grassroots conservatism.”
I guess there’s no need to establish linkage with Loughner when you’ve become like him.

Good point. I think that would make the rest of them...”unhinged”.
