This morning on “Good Morning America,” ABC’s Ashleigh Banfield sat down with Zach Osler, a high school friend of Jared Loughner, the suspect in the Tucson massacre.
Osler says his friend wasn’t shooting at people, “he was shooting at the world.” Regarding the high-pitched talk radio and cable news political rhetoric, Osler says his friend didn’t even watch the news.
He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right.
Based on his views, I wouldn’t have been surprised if he was a big fan of MSNBC, especially their nightly line-up.
“So much for blaming this tragedy on Sarah Palin, Rush, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, etc.”
The closest one could get is some left wing anarchist and even that’s a stretch. He’s nuts. Hinkley type nuts.
This goes against the MSM template...so it will go nowhere. No less than our Secretary of State was saying that Laughner acted out politically so who the hell cares his best friend says he was “apolitical”?
Nothing here... move on!

I bet if one were to ask Jared Loughner who Sarah Palin was he would answer, “Who?”
Loughner was too much into his dream world to pay any attention to anyone like Sarah Palin.
So far what’s been reported is that media wise the greatest outside influences on him were Hollywood films.
Films of the lucid dreams and dream manipulation genre were what he watched.
