Craddick wasn’t good, you’re right.

But this Straus guy is RINO scum. A good guy wouldn’t have gotten every rat vote, twice.

I strongly disagree. And obviously most of the republican legislators disagree with you. And I am so glad.

I’ll assume you have some personal reason to “like and respect” this guy. Whatever, good for you. I’m sure he’s personally a swell fella who loves kids and puppies.

But his being a RINO dog is a matter of fact, not opinion. He got to be Speaker because he was selected, by the rats, with just enough of his fellow RINOs to get him elected. He proceeded to put democrats in several committee chairmanships. He put democrats into positions of power over the people of Texas. That is totally not cool, unacceptable, cannot be justified.

I don’t know how many of the RINO traitors were defeated in the primary but it’s a shame Stauss himself was not opposed. All the turncoats should have been drubbed from the party. They want to band with democrats, let them run as democrats.

Excuse me. I did not say I liked this guy; so please do not indicate I said this. His being a RINO is a problem.

My reply was directed to “DallasSun” not you. I just pinged you since you were involved with the conversation.

I do have my reasons. He is an honourable man and dignified and more than fair. He can work with those on both sides of the aisle. We obviously disagree and we can do that. He had lots of republican votes from what I understand. He is very well respected by dems and repubs alike, for good reason. I like that about him. Obviously, to you, this is not a good thing. We can disagree about this.

And he "respects" the rats back so much that he gave them committee chairmanships. You're right, he obviously rocks.

Those scum chaired every committee for around a century and a half. Their time to rule is over.

I think we have established the fact we disagree re: Straus. And again, we can disagree. I have no problem with that.

I gotta tell you I have a little problem with a freeper approving of paying off rats with committee chairmanships. Kinda shocking.

Whatever. That better not continue under the huge GOP majority.

“paying off”? You are assuming alot. Would you rather return to the days and ways of Craddick? That was an embarrassment. Texas has a long history of decorum and civility in our legislature no matter whom has the majority. Under dem majority, republicans held chairs on committees also. I understand your point, but still support Straus and he was a better choice than any of the others, in my opinion.

And for you to assume Straus would ever pay off anyone tells me you do not know him at all.
