I do have trouble though watching fellow Christians begin their bow down to evil and concede evil the victory. This is not the America I know.

By no means did I intend to give the impression that I am despondent, without hope, or ready to "bow down to evil". I pray every day that God will intervene on behalf of His people in what I believe to be a time of serious national crisis created by those among us who have defied God's authority and rejected the Christian faith of our nation's founding fathers. IMHO the founding fathers would have NO toleration for national sin such as our acceptance of abortion as a "right", or our acceptance of even the most abhorrent homosexual perversion as normal behavior.

Although I yearn to see the day when the Archangel blows his trumpet and calls Jesus Christ's children to our eternal home with Him, I am very much hopeful and daily in prayer, as I believe are you, for our once Christ-honoring nation and people to return to Him and His Word in every aspect of our lives and our nation's laws, policies, and goals. Thanks for reading my somewhat discouraging screed, and if the rapture is not close at hand may God grant our earnest mutual prayers for a Christ-honoring future for our nation and it's people.

If I appeared combative, as I probably did, my apology. My writings do create controversy more often than not. I think, after reading your response, we are on the same page with God, and I agree with your thoughts of.....
