Within hours after Jared Loughner's killing spree, New York Times columnist Paul Krugman went straight for the gutter, proclaiming, with no evidence whatsoever, that Loughner's act was in all likelihood "political," and going on to blame Republicans for the murders. I denounced Krugman's vile blog post here.
We now know that Loughner's murders were not political. He was deranged and had no coherent political philosophy. To the extent that he had any political beliefs at all, his friends describe him as left wing. He thought the Bush administration was behind the September 11 attacks. He has been more or less obsessed with Congresswoman Giffords since 2007, when he showed up at one of her events and asked something like, "What becomes of government when words have no meaning?" He was outraged that Giffords was unable to answer his question and, apparently, despised her from that point on. This, of course, was before the Tea Party movement existed and when Sarah Palin was the little-known governor of Alaska.
So Krugman's vicious smear was completely unfounded. Nevertheless, true to form, he has not backed off, let alone apologized. Instead, in his latest column he doubled down, claiming even more explicitly that Republicans somehow caused Loughner's murder spree, whether Loughner suspected it or not. As usual, Krugman's column is poorly reasoned and lacking in any perceptible factual support. It's just the wishful thinking of a rabid and hateful partisan. Others can take it apart line by line.
I want to focus on just one point. The most striking thing about Krugman's rant is that he adduces one--one!--purported fact in support of the central thesis of his column:

Krugman is vile.
Krugman incites violence.
Krugman is a communist.
Obama is more vile.
There is no evidence at all that links the Arizona shootings to FOX NEWS, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh or the Tea Party Movement.
The guy with real power.
Krugman incites violence.
Krugman is a communist.
And Krugman is stupid. And lazy.
His employers at the New York Times must know all these things. So, why do they keep him around.
Could it be because they approve?
Paul Krugman is a product of the NY TIMES, THEREFOR, according to the NY TIMES, any mentally ill nutjob who acts on Krugman’s rants....THE NEW YORK TIMES IS RESPONSIBLE!
To me, Krugman isn't stupid. He knows the argument is petty and trite, but that's not what he's trying to do here.
He's playing uber partisan. The idea is to use this as a whip, to fan the flames of anger in the people on his side, the Leftists and Progressives that hate all conservatives, Christians and Republicans.
It's really is that simple.
The problem is, facts have caught up with Krugman, and there has been a outpouring of articles like this and more that have proved him not only factually wrong, but extremely biased and partisan to the point of making his point, albeit in the opposite way he intended, for him!
Krugman, it is YOUR rhetoric that is shameful!
Krugman has less class then an outhouse roach.
I would like to see a tide of outraged Americans denouncing these left wing partisan and completely biased prejudiced around the bend attacks and not only denounce them but denounce them in the most forceful way possible. The only reason for these leftwing commies to engage in such things is because America rejected their agenda in the midterm elections forcefully and now the leftwing commies refuse to accept that result and so these leftwing commies feel the need to incite the nutjob members of their party and incite them to violence.
Don't even go there,the sh1t is ridiculous.

Krauthammer reffereed to Krugman’s behaviors with the term “neuroses” but said Krugman couldn’t afford his rates for a psych evaluation
(He also said reports about Loughner’s behavior resembled symptoms of classic paranoid schizophrenia)
All the Democrats are jumping on the stupidity bandwagon which is largely run by the DNC. These folks are truly mind-numbed robots who cant seriously believe the nonsense they are spouting. Obviously supporting the party line is more important than their credibility (which is non-existant anyway).
Krugman is just another one who can be described with one word: asshole.
