I don’t always agree with Charley, but when he’s good, he’s very, very good.

“Charles Krauthammer picks and choses when he’s going to be a conservative?”

Krauthammer is an elitist Liberal, but it turns his stomach to associate with trash like Krugman. Notice that he was careful to act as apologist for his hero Obama:

“When Barack Obama said at a 2008 fundraiser in Philadelphia, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” he was hardly inciting violence.”

I think he WAS inciting violence, and that’s exactly what we got from his Black Panther and union thugs.

In 1978, Krauthammer quit medical practice to direct planning in psychiatric research for the Jimmy Carter administration, and began contributing to The New Republic magazine. During the presidential campaign of 1980, Krauthammer served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale.

Within the American political spectrum, Krauthammer has been called a conservative, as well as a neoconservative on matters of foreign policy. However, on domestic issues, Krauthammer is a supporter of legalized abortion; an opponent of the death penalty; an intelligent design critic and an advocate for the scientific consensus on evolution, calling the religion-science controversy a “false conflict;” a supporter of embryonic stem cell research using embryos discarded by fertility clinics with restrictions in its applications; and a longtime advocate of radically higher energy taxes to induce conservation.

He’s probably the most qualified of all pundits to speak on this subject as he is a psychiatrist.

“Charles Krauthammer picks and choses when he’s going to be a conservative? “

The same conclusion would be reached by any honest observer.

Since Dr. K is a psychiatrist, his opinion holds great merit.
