Progressives are eternal seekers of blame, and the political class almost always looks to conservatives to cast blame. Unless of course the perpetrator cant, even by loose criteria, be somehow aligned with conservative beliefs.
Scribes had to reach deep, but most national media outlets jumped on the Blame Sarah Palin bandwagon before the shooters name was even disclosed. One newspaper even quoted a staffer from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a once admired group whose existence now revolves around imaginary extremism in real gardens*.
At some point on Sunday I asked myself if the WaPo bloggers group Journolist was still alive and well. Do these reporters call each other before writing stories like middle school girls phone to coordinate what theyre wearing on pep rally day?
The Virginia Tech shooter, the Discovery Channel eco-nut, the Islamist army major who murdered civilians and military at Ft. Hood, the off-her-rocker professor who unloaded on her colleagues. No one was too concerned about blame because none of those perps were conservatives. No one at The New York Times wrote thoughtful creative essays about whether Code Pink or Daily Kos couldve set off the Islamist or whether Al Gores error-laden first film couldve set off the eco-nut.
Now the scribe shills have moved on to greener pastures. A few are taking the dead nine year old childs parents to task because the mother spoke to media the day after Christina Greene was murdered. Anyone listening, by the way, or at least anyone with a beating heart inside the chest, would realize how much the mother was hurting. A writer would have to sink low to lob criticism at newly bereaved parents.
Some are blaming the shooters school and his parents for not intervening, presumably to ward off violent acts he might commitemphasis on

What kookball Liberals can not fathom is this. We are not anti-government. We hate liberals wrecking our government. We love our government, our constitution, and our country. We want it to be the great nation it once was before we went to sleep and let them get in and wreck it. I am Pro-American and Pro-Government...when the government is run the right way.
Although it can’t be said to be too surprising
Speaking for myself, I despise ANYONE who is undermining the Constitution, regardless of party or idealogical affiliation. And it is hard for Americans to be “anti-government” when we are in fact the true and rightful government of the U.S. Our elected officials are simply representing us.

Tweet Tracker, National Review.
Follow this regularly and you will see all national reporters talking to each other about what moves to make against conservatives/Republicans.
A recent example was when Murk lost to Miller in AK. The MSM were stunned. They immediately started Tweeting ideas for her, researching write-in campaigns etc.
They HATE us with a passion.
The legacy media were the ONLY ones who saw a connection between conservatives and the shooter and that became the story for days, until they were drowned out by the vast majority of reasonable people. Alot of time & energy wasted defending ourselves. The only thing that saved us from more damage this time was the utter ridiculousness of the charges.
No "we" aren't!
The unelected bureaucrats and government union thugs are running the place.
Great article ...thanks for sharing.
Hey this is my first time writing on this website. i believe that politics shouldn’t be about who can lay the blame on who. It i the shooters fault and nobody elses. the sooner everyone in government and out realizes this, the sooner everyone can work together and stop these arguements over which party is better. To save the country people must work together and reach the best decision available through listening to all reasonable proposals and picking the best one. the one thing that we dont need is people blaming each other. It was the shooters fault and no-one elses and everyone should consider this before they start throwing accusations at anybody else.
