Try a Glock and then one of the Springfield XD's. I think you'll find that the grip angle on the XD is much more familiar to a 1911 shooter than the Glock.

Same thing here, I much prefer the grip angle of the XD (or 1911) to that of the Glocks I’ve owned. My XD45Compact is virtually the same size of the G19 I had, but I also prefer the 11rnds of .45ACP with the short mag in the XD45C.

I agree. If I were to own another striker fired pistol, it would be an XD or M&P.
