I have worked outdoor events when it was -4 but it still wasn’t as cold as Boston at 28.

A damp cold can really bite.

My worst memory was walking a mile to (elementary) school in -20F and strong winds. They didn't publish windchill factors back then.

But at least it was flat level both ways. *\;^)
