WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A majority of Americans reject the view that heated political rhetoric was a factor in the weekend shootings in Arizona which killed six and critically wounded a congresswoman, a CBS News said on Tuesday.

RHETORIC? This word is being used to describe what Rush and Hannity and other conservatives are saying. What they MEAN is DISAGREEING with the sitting government should NOT BE ALLOWED.
I think there is a ‘perfect’ society like this in China- where the internet is limited and disagreeing with the government means incarceration if not execution.
So now the answer to LUNATICS shooting people is to blame the idea of dissent! Control the crazy, not free speech.
The half of this country that is socialist minded has elected their Mao and now they want to silence, and criminalize, the half that stands against them.
This is about much more than some politicians RIGHTLY fearing for their lives. They have enraged people( the Tea Party) into action.
So blame the very concept of disagreeing with the government as the ultimate goal. Tyranny is the goal here.
The ‘rhetoric’ out there is the VOICE of dissent- and it is allowed, and protected, by the Constitution.
Which, itself, is the main target.
Palin shouldn’t be accused in the first place.
The commies may have jumped the shark on this one. They are so hateful and inbred to themselves they have serously lost touch with the majority of Americans.
Beating the demrats in 2012 should be a no brainer. It is for conservative office holders and candidates to lose. Sadly, the silence is deafening from that quarter with regard to AZ shooting and Palin. Only conservative I know of who’s publicly attacked the left is Mr. West.
I believe this will be the “stake in the heart” for the Left in this country. They are radicals and will stop at nothing to destroy the opposition.
In their zealous attempt to capitalize on a tragedy, they will ultimately expose their draconian ideologies. They will fuel the conspiracy nuts and the paranoid whack jobs. Most importantly, the average american will be disgusted by their actions.
There is nothing more evil than to tread on the bodies of the dead and injured in Tucson in order to climb to some ill conceived political gain. These liberal political hacks are disgusting and evil.
No wonder the United States is in turmoil and economic peril. The evil in this country is pervasive and destructive. It manifests itself in greed and power grabbing, selfish politicians who care about nothing but themselves and their socialist agendas.
Pray for this Country...
Once again proving that the majority of Americans are smarter than the media and administration think (hope?) they are.
As one very blunt commentator stated .... “this was an attempted political assassination of Sarah Palin”.
