Our neighbor Mexico's gun laws stand out as some of the most restrictive in the world.
How are they doing with the gun violence?
This will be one of many tests for the new Congressional (R) majority.
Do they do what’s right and kill new gun control bills?
Or do they cave in to political correctness and pass them?
It’s been proven again and again that the majority of their constituents DO NOT want more restrictions on their 2nd amendment rights. Do they listen to their consituents, or to the NYT?
Its too bad she did not use her 9 to defend herself against the nutcase who attacked her....
She should have been carrying...on her hip...
We have to be armed at all times, Utopia is a dream and it sucks... Kill bad guys or die...
Evil Exists.... get over it....
How I wish we could go back to the days when you could strap a Colt Peacemaker to your hip and you wouldn’t be considered dressed if you didn’t.

From what I've read he shot her first and it was the equivalent of a "sucker punch"
Even if you have one strapped to your side, there's no escaping one in your face.
In all fairness this guy apparently came out of nowhere, walked up and just unloaded. I doubt being strapped would have made much of a difference here.
Even though you are prepared, an ambush is possible. I carry, but if someone behind me puts a handgun to my head, I’ll never know.
My dad went to an agricultural high school in the 1930's. He talked about how he and his brother and other kids would bring their shotguns and .22's to school in the morning, set them in the corner, and hunt for birds and squirrels and such on the way home from school.
It was called, "dinner".
It wasn't considered weird or crazy, it was just what people did. And there weren't any school shootings back then, that I know of.
It isn't guns that have changed, it is peoples' attitudes that has changed.
They're not toys, they're tools. They're not "what you saw at the shoot-em-up action/adventure movie" yesterday, they're to be treated with respect, like other tools.
In fact, I think that if high schools had Rod and Gun Clubs as extracurricular activities, properly instructed, it would solve a lot of the gun crime troubles we have.
But you know the Libbies would go ballistic over that idea.

Mrs. Prince of Space
Do they want to get re-elected?
Not a problem. Learning is a continuing process, unless you are a liberal.
The only stupid question is the one unasked.
You are right, I am wrong...
thanks for setting me straight on this...
My dumb ass mouths off from time to time...
I got wound up ( again ) and could not fathom the scenario...
