What is up with these parents? First, they let their son run around, up to his armpits in crazy; then, they make no public statement when their son kills many; now, they are obstructing the investigation.

Since when is it obstruction to expect the government to obey the law? How hard could it be to get a warrant? Let the FBI find out what it feels like to be not above the law.

Just wondering....have you ever dealt with someone that was bat-shit crazy? So crazy that when you spend more than five minutes with them, you just know there is “no one home?”

If you have, then you understand how difficult it is to get them put away. If they don’t want to go, they don’t go. if they are not CURRENTLY harming themselves or anyone else, they don’t get put away.

Sometimes walking in another’s moccasins really does give you some perspective.

We know nothing yet about the parents, so I’d recommend refraining from judgment at this point.

I’ve seen parents of schizophrenic kids who are over 18 try to get their sons committed and treated only to have the courts say they have no standing as the person is an adult.

And pretty much uniformly the schizophrenics are too paranoid to agree to treatment. So, they are just out there roaming around with their hallucinations and paranoid thinking.

You see, as the law stands, we have the right to be crazy, but not the right to be treated and sane.
