I thought her BMW was engulfed in a fire and that was how she perished. This BMW doesn’t appear to have been that severly damaged at the rear two-thirds. Was this an engine fire with heavy smoke inside causing her inability to exit and resulting in her death due to a burnt beam wedging the car in place?

The story said the car was 7/8s into the garage and was at an odd angle, and they wouldn’t give any information out on the condition of her body. Hard to say what actually happened ... sure is sad though. She had little kids.

It would take a long while for a smoking engine to burn a beam like that. Unless the “engine” fire disabled the electronics and she was locked inside the car. Very strange circumstance.
