However the former Republican Governor of Hawaii has stated that he was born at Kapiolani and Kapiolani published a letter from Obama honoring the hospital on its 100th Anniversary and naming it as “the place of my birth.”
Obama’s birth records can be released without Obama’s permission to “a person whose right to inspect or obtain a certified copy of the record is established by an order of a court of compentent jurisdiction.”— Hawaii Revised Statutes 338-18(b)(9)

The Obama index data has been available at the Department of Health website for over a year now. Anybody can order the complete 1961 birth index file if they are willing to pay reprographic costs.

The registration number is part of the registration INDEX data. Claiming that birth registration index consists of the name only is stupid.
How would the DoH differentiate between people who were given the same name (or a person who changed their name as an adult to a name that already exists in the DoH database), if index data did not have a unique identifier (registration number)?

You are also lying about birth index for 1961 being for sale. This was a lie that was first published by AP writer Mark Niese few months ago. He quoted Okubo, however, when people tried to order it, their money was returned with the note that only a cumulative index for 1961-65 can be purchased.
