It's a fact that COLBs say the same thing in the data fields they report that the baseline birth documentation (the fetishized long form) does. That's where the information on the COLB comes from. If Obama actually obtained the COLB his campaign proffered on the Internet, the salient facts of father, mother and place of birth reflect what is on the long form. To believe otherwise is to be irrational.

So you basically have two options here. In the first, Obama requested a copy of his birth certificate from Hawaii. They sent him the COLB, which his campaign put on the Internet. In response to questions, the state of Hawaii has confirmed that its records say Barak Obama was born in Hawaii. So he already has done what you voluntarily ask and, if he gives you folks any fleeting thought at all, he probably just sighs and wonder how people can be such idiots. He certainly isn't going to waste his time getting another birth certificate for you to complain about, let alone mail it individually to you.

The second option is that Barak Obama, who wasn't required to provide any evidence of birth to the general public, decided to posted a fraudlent birth certificate on the Web. And the entire state of Hawaii government, including its Republican governor, is in on the scam. Oh, and none of the people who ran against him cared even though the truth would have blown him out of the water and given them the nomination or election victory they so desperately coveted. Congress and Dick Cheney didn't care, either. I'm curious what kind of pharmaceutical assistance is needed to find that option compelling.

I suppose there is a third option. You could be one of those breathlessly holding to the fantasy that once American’s see the precious long form birth certificate with a foreign father on it they will robotically pivot in mass and shriek “Vattel was right!” Notwithstanding that Obama has admitted his father was a foreign national forever, wrote a book about it, gave speeches on the campaign trail talking about it, and, if you hysterics are to be believed, forged a fake birth certificate with his Achilles heel father emblazoned on it for everyone to see.

If that's compelling, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. It comes with a Little League team, too.

Therefore,.... Obama should nod his head to his secretary, and promptly give permission to release all of the best evidence.

Fact: Obama instead of promptly proving with all of the best evidence that he is, indeed, a natural born citizen, has instead gone to considerable effort to prevent the release of these **COMMON** documents.

Personally....I don't think Obama can release them. If he did they would likely show that he is NOT a natural born citizen. Now...What would that mean? Hm?...Probably prison for a very LONG time!
